Well, I suppose that marketing team got a hit with the “Microsoft ❤️ Linux” slogan, but the true is that no, Microsoft does not Love Linux.
Microsoft has changed a lot, but is not just because Microsoft suddenly wanted to be the good guy. Please remember how is that Microsoft become one of the most popular software companies in the world. Without taking credits of being a doer. Bill Gates bought DOS to a company, modified it and resold it as MS-DOS, that gave it the chance to surpass the others since Microsoft was not tied to a computer vendor. They needed an OS.

Tenía contratado el aparte acerques con un precio de $600 MXN ( ~$30 USD) que de por sí ya es caro y solo me daban 4Mb de 20 con los que se anuncian.
Cuando contrate nunca me dijeron que la línea era por cobre, así que los 20Mb son algo imposible, y tampoco me dijeron que las terminales las tienen tan dispersas que no son capaces de garantizarte ni la mitad de la velocidad contratada.
Desde Mayo tenía un reporte por esto, y resignado a que de los 4Mb no va a pasar me dispuse a solicitar un cambio de paquete a uno ingerior, de mínimo para no pagar tanto.
El paquete conectes, cuesta $380MXN (~$180USD), la velocidad de internet es de 10Mb. Y si como quiera me van a dar 4Mb, pues es mejor que pagar los $600 del otro paquete.
Desde ayer me hicieron el cambio, y ahora solo tengo 3Mb. ?
Yo supuse que al tener la línea 10 megas y al soportar los 4 ( por la distancia, el cobre, las auras/chacras) seguiría con 4, pues no, Telmex sigue estafando.
Espero que lo solucionen, o que por favor entre otro proveedor de internet que de verdad sostenga lo que ofrezca.
As you know, there is a battle in social networks, in my opinion there are too many, which is good and is also bad. The good part is that there are plenty of options, there are social networks for whatever you need to do, the most common: twitter, Facebook, instagram, snapchat. There are other less popular but also quite important, like LinkedIn, twitch or Flickr and not because they are not great platforms, but they have a niche.
So, my question, do we really need all those social networks?

I bought this battery-case last friday, and it works pretty good, it has 3000mAh, which gives me 1.74 battery time (if I don’t use the phone while charging).
Reasons to have a battery pack?. Well, I don’t like to be on the bottom of the battery, call me paranoid but I just don’t like the idea of having 0 power on a device (this happens with my laptop too). And knowing the iPhone has a 1715mAh battery getting it close to discharge is quite easy.
Unfortunately there is not another “cheap” option here, (Telmex is not cheap either, I pay around $30 USD for a 4Mbps/150kbps (Down/Up) connection). It urges for more competition here in Tapachula.
I think that not many gamers will ever read that, I think they prefer the game and the movies. Or is just another adapted novel that after a name change was ready to publish ?

I wish this game were available on PS3/4 or in Mac, well, now I have an excuse to put Windows on Cristina’s Core i7 laptop.
Un fortunately the true, more people addicted by one game that gives nothing back, just the pleasure of “catching” something that don’t even exists.
Pretty funny game
This weekend Cristina and I watched the first season of “Stranger Things” a new original from Netflix. I’ll try to avoid any spoiler so this post might be a little short, still I think it deserves a recommendation from my part.
So, where should I start?. The story, again, no spoiler. The story is great, so far the eight chapters (around 1 hour each one) had us trying to figure what is coming in the next chapter. Is definitively not boring and in my opinion is quite well placed, a small town in what I believe is around the 80’s. Being an “80’s” drama, all the town must look like an 80’s town, so cars, TVs, radio and other stuff is pretty much accurate although there are some mistakes.
Next the actors, kids and the characters are good, Winona Ryder definitively made a good paper as a desperate mom trying to find her kid. The chief is also a great character and is well performed by David Harbour, the kids do it great too, I think Dustin Henderson is my favorite, and although they are kinda needed, I don’t really like the teenagers performance. They were like just filling the hole.
I like the idea of having a season two, but I don’t know if it will work the same, I mean, it can’t be just more of the same, it has to change and I’m not sure if those will be good enough.
I highly recommend it, go watch it and let me know if you like it.

A few weeks ago, I have to write a program in PyGTK that was supposed to be all the time in the background. This application needs to run over Microsoft Windows, and hide in the notification area, wich in Windows is near to the clock.
One of challenges for me in this application is that as it must run in the background there must be a way to raise it, the most easy way to do it is by force the user to click on the small icon in the notification area, but in this case, that was impossible because the computer don’t have any mouse, everything is done with the keyboard.
Interesting phone, the Moto Z is beautiful to me, although with some design issues (in my opinion) like the fact that the speaker is in the top front, the exact same speaker you use to hear your calls, I hope it doesn’t start playing a loud alarm when you are in the middle of a call.
What calls to my attention is how pretty and how well designed they are, I definitively will go for the force version because of the battery and the shatter-proof display, having a device that is strong enough so you can avoid a protective case helps a lot because you are seeing the well design device (not just a beautiful one with something on top that hides it).
So… I’m watching videos of how to repair an iPad (mini) that does not boot, it’s not even recognised by the computer when connected via USB ?.
