Of course it is not the only programming language, C, Bash, PHP, Javascript are part of the tools that help me when Python is not at hand or doesn’t fit. I’m also good doing some sysadmin tasks, I’ve been working with Linux since 2002, the terminal is my friend and I’m pretty sure that I’ll never leave the UNIX environment.
People that knows me knows that my primary operating system is OS X, I was a Linux user for a long, long time, but as a desktop operating system it decayed, OS X is not that flexible like Linux, but is more consistent and it have all the power of the Unix shell. Please don’t get me wrong, I love Linux and I use it in many devices (primarily in servers) but as my main desktop it is no longer the OS.
My editor is VIM/MacVim and I rarely use an IDE for editing text, I love VIM because of its simplicity and flexibility, it have tons of features at the price of some keystrokes.
